On Sunday, June 26, 2011 at 7PM EST the CBS News “60 Minutes” news program rebroadcast the Jazz at Lincoln Center and Wynton Marsalis profile. In exclusive interviews, Marsalis and members of the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra (JLCO) discussed the mission of Jazz at Lincoln Center – inspiring and growing audiences for jazz and its utilization in bringing people together around the world. The Emmy award-winning news program traveled with the JLCO with Wynton Marsalis on its residency at the Barbican Centre in London and a first time visit to Havana, Cuba.
