Official Rules
No Purchase Necessary to Participate or Win
ELIGIBILITY: The Jazz at Lincoln Center Contest (the "Contest") is open to all legal permanent residents of the United States (the "Eligibility Area") who are eighteen (18) years of age or older. The Contest is void in Puerto Rico, U.S. territories and possessions, outside of the U.S., and where otherwise prohibited by federal, state, provincial, municipal or local law. All federal, state, local, and municipal laws and regulations apply. Employees and their immediate families, including household members, their respective parents, affiliates, subsidiaries, divisions and advertising and promotion agencies of Jazz at Lincoln Center, Inc. (the "Sponsor") are not eligible.
HOW TO ENTER: No purchase necessary. Contest deadline is posted on the Contest web page ("Entry Period"). You can only enter this Contest by responding to the questions, entering email address and clicking the "Submit" button. Only one entry per email address. Entries must be made from within the Eligibility Area and must be received by Sponsor within the Entry Period. Entries that do not comply with these Official Rules in all respects are ineligible and void.
Sponsor may choose to determine any entry invalid and ineligible for any reason whatsoever.
CONDITIONS OF ENTRY: You must be the Registered and Authorized Holder of the email Account through which the entry is made. For purposes of this Contest, a "Registered and Authorized Holder of the email account" is defined as the natural person who is assigned to an email address by an internet service provider, online service provider or other entity (e.g., business, educational institution, etc.) that is responsible for assigning email addresses for the secondary level domain name associated with the submitted email address. Entries must be made by an individual from a single computer and may not be made by proxy, or electronic means such as script, bot, macro or any other similar software or program. All entries become the property of Sponsor. By participating, entrants agree to these Official Rules, including all eligibility requirements. By entering this Contest, you consent to Sponsor's use of your name and likeness for promotional purposes in connection with the sweepstakes, without additional compensation, except where prohibited by law. Neither Sponsor nor its respective parent companies, affiliates, subsidiaries, divisions, advertising and promotion agencies, or any telephone network or service providers are responsible for incorrect or inaccurate transcription of entry information, or for any human error, technical malfunctions, lost/delayed data transmission, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, line failures of any telephone network, computer equipment, software, inability to access any website or online service, or any other error or malfunction, or late, lost, misdirected, illegible entries.
CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY WEB SITE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE CONTEST IS A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, THE SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES OR OTHER REMEDIES FROM ANY SUCH PERSON(S) RESPONSIBLE FOR THE ATTEMPT TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.
PRIZES: Prizes vary as each contest cycle is announced. Certain restrictions, conditions and limitations may apply. Sponsor is not responsible for lost or stolen prizes. No prize substitution or assignment or transfer of prizes is permitted, except by Sponsor, in which case a prize of equal or greater value will be awarded. In no event will more than the stated number of prizes be awarded.
ODDS OF WINNING: The odds of winning a listed prize depends upon the number of eligible entries received during the Entry Period.
DRAWING: Potential Prize winner(s) will be selected periodically as stated on the Contest web page by a random drawing among all eligible entries received during the Entry Period. All drawings shall be conducted by Sponsor whose decisions are final with respect to all aspects of the Contest.
NOTIFICATION: Potential winner(s) will be notified by email. Potential winner(s) will be given 7 days from the time the email notification is sent to respond to claim a prize or an alternate winner will be selected. As a condition of awarding the prize concerned, potential winners are required to sign an affidavit of eligibility/publicity and liability release, and return it properly executed, within three (3) days from the date the potential prize winner sends the email notification to claim the prize concerned. If a prize notification is returned as undeliverable or a potential winner fails to return the affidavit and release as specified, that potential winner will be disqualified and an alternate winner may be selected as described, at Sponsor's sole discretion. Unclaimed prizes will not be distributed.
GENERAL: This Contest is subject to all federal, state, and local laws. Void where prohibited. The winners agree that Sponsor, its respective parent companies, affiliates, its advertising agencies and employees thereof shall not be liable for injury, loss or damage of any kind resulting from participating in this Contest or from the acceptance or use of any prize awarded. Sponsor reserves the right to verify eligibility qualifications of any winner. U.S. law of the State of New York governs this Contest. If, in Sponsor's sole opinion, there is any suspected or actual evidence of electronic or non-electronic tampering with any portion of this Contest, any violation of these Official Rules, or if technical difficulties compromise the integrity of the Contest, Sponsor reserves the right to terminate the Contest and conduct a random drawing to award the prizes or none of them, using all entries received during the Entry Period. Any attempt to damage the content or operation of this Contest is unlawful and subject to legal action by Sponsor and its agents.
