Jazz Corner

In an effort to stimulate a dialogue about jazz education and best practices, the EAC team has posted lesson plans here for educators to look at and consider using in their classrooms.  These lesson plans represent a variety of educational contexts (secondary applied music, elementary general music, etc) and focuses (improvisation, arranging, etc).

Review the lesson, try parts or all of it out in your classroom, and fill out a brief survey also located above.

If you are interested in sharing a lesson plan with the EAC community, please email Jake Blasini at eac@jalc.org or call 212-258-9918.
