Play It!
Whether you're just getting comfortable on your instrument or are looking for inspiration from the masters, Jazz at Lincoln Center offers resources to spark your imagination and challenge your chops.

Motivated middle schoolers in the New York City area learn to play and work together every Saturday at the Middle School Jazz Academy. High school students from across the country delve deeper into Duke through the Essentially Ellington High School Jazz Band Program. Student bands of all levels learn the fine points of swinging though our workshops and clinics.

Musicians of all abilities can play the music of the masters with our print music library.

Hear It!
Jazz at Lincoln Center brings the warmth and wonder of jazz to students of every age in every borough.

We invite you to bring the sound and spirit of jazz to your students with two engaging and interactive concert-going opportunities: Jazz for Young People® at Frederick P. Rose Hall and Jazz for Young People® On-Tour (formerly Jazz in the Schools).

Teach It!
Students in grades 4-12 learn the fundamentals of jazz and its connection to American History through the Jazz for Young People™ and NEA Jazz in the Schools Curricula.

Band directors of all ages learn to teach and conduct big band music at our Band Director Academy.
