Essentially Ellington Library: Through the Essentially Ellington High School Jazz Band Program, Jazz at Lincoln Center has transcribed more than 85 recordings of the Duke Ellington Orchestra and other seminal big band composers, published them, and made them available to jazz bands across the world. Each transcription provides performance notes and most include a reference recording with interpretations of the charts by the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra. All charts are scored for big band, but please refer to each title as exact instrumentation varies. Essential Jazz Editions is a series of charts for jazz ensembles transcribed from classic jazz recordings. Five charts at a time are produced and published as a set, beginning with early jazz standards and continuing throughout the 1940's. Each original transcription includes historical and performance notes. Scores are edited by David Baker, Music Director of Smithsonian Jazz Masterworks Orchestra.

Jazz for Young People Series: The Jazz for Young People Series features arrangements for jazz ensemble by today's leading jazz arrangers. Designed for younger and developing bands, these charts are based on the repertoire from the Jazz for Young People™ Curriculum, a multi-media jazz appreciation curriculum.
