Official Rules Win a Trip to see the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra on the Road! No Purchase Necessary. Winner will be notified by email. ELIGIBILITY: The Jazz at Lincoln Center "Enter to Win" Contest (the "Contest") is open to residents of the United States (the "Eligibility Area") 18 years or older. Proper identification must be presented to collect prize. The Contest is void in areas outside of the United States, including U.S. territories, possessions, and Puerto Rico, and where otherwise prohibited by federal, state, provincial, municipal or local law. All federal, state, local, and municipal laws and regulations apply. Employees and their immediate families (including household members), and parents, affiliates, subsidiaries, divisions and advertising and promotion agencies of Jazz at Lincoln Center, Inc. ("Sponsor") are not eligible to participate in the Contest. ENTRY PERIOD: 2/14/08 - 5/24/08 HOW TO ENTER: No purchase is necessary. The Contest is valid for the dates and times stated in the Contest details ("Entry Period"), unless terminated sooner by Sponsor, and Sponsor must receive your entry within the Entry Period. You can enter the Contest by registering at Frederick P. Rose Hall, Home of Jazz at Lincoln Center, during the Entry Period. You must provide your name and e-mail address. Only one entry is permitted. CONDITIONS OF ENTRY: You must be the Registered and Authorized Holder of the e-mail account provided. For purposes of this Contest, a "Registered and Authorized Holder of the e-mail account" is defined as the natural person affiliated with an e-mail address by an Internet service provider, online service provider or other entity (e.g., business, educational institution, etc.) that is responsible for assigning e-mail addresses for the secondary level domain name associated with the submitted e-mail address. All entries become the property of Sponsor. By entering the Contest entrants agree to these Official Rules, including all eligibility requirements. Entrants also consent to Sponsor's use of their name and likeness, without additional compensation, except where prohibited by law. Neither Sponsor nor its affiliates, subsidiaries, divisions, advertising and promotion agencies, or any telephone network or service providers, are responsible for incorrect or inaccurate transcription of entry information, or for any human error, technical malfunctions, lost/delayed data transmission, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, line failures of any telephone network, computer equipment, software, inability to access any website or online service, or any other error or malfunction, or late, lost, misdirected, illegible entries. Entries that do not comply with these Official Rules shall be declared ineligible and/or invalid. Sponsor has complete discretion to declare any entry ineligible and invalid. CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY WEB SITE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE CONTEST IS A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, THE SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES OR OTHER REMEDIES FROM ANY SUCH PERSON(S) RESPONSIBLE FOR THE ATTEMPT TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. PRIZE: The prize is roundtrip airfare from NYC to another city in the Continental U.S., hotel accommodations, and a pair of concert tickets to see a performance of the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra sometime during the months of June or July 2008. The city and venue selected as part of the prize will be decided by Jazz at Lincoln Center in its sole discretion. Other restrictions and conditions may apply. No prize substitution or assignment or transfer of prize is permitted, except by Sponsor, in which case a prize of equal value will be awarded. ODDS OF WINNING: The odds of winning the listed prize depends upon the number of eligible entries received during the Entry Period. NOTIFICATION: The winner will be selected on or about May 28, 2008 by a random drawing from among all eligible entries received during the Entry Period. The drawing shall be conducted by Sponsor, whose decisions regarding all aspects of the Contest are final. The selected winner will be notified by email on and will be given seven (7) days from the date of the email notification to respond and claim the prize, or Sponsor shall select an alternate winner. As a condition of receiving the prize, the winner is required to sign an affidavit of eligibility/publicity and liability release, and return it properly executed within three (3) days from the date the winner responded to claim the prize. If the price notification is returned as undeliverable or the selected winner fails to return the affidavit and release as specified, that selected winner will be disqualified, and Sponsor, in its sole discretion, may select and declare an alternate winner. GENERAL: The winner and any other prize participant agree that Sponsor, its employees, affiliates, agents and representatives shall not be liable for any injury, loss or damage of any kind sustained by the winner and any other prize participant as a result, direct or indirect, of participating in this Contest or accepting any prize awarded. Sponsor reserves the right to verify eligibility qualifications of any winner. The laws of the State of New York govern this Contest. If, in Sponsor’s sole opinion, there is any suspected or actual evidence of electronic or non-electronic tampering with any aspect of this Contest, or any violation of the Official Rules, or if technical difficulties compromise the integrity of the Contest, Sponsor reserves the right to terminate the Contest. Any attempt to damage the content or operation of this Contest is unlawful and subject to legal action by Sponsor and/or its agents. WINNERS LIST: The winner will be identified at www.jalc.org.
